Due to the forecasted weather for Wednesday, February 23, 2022 and Thursday, February 24, 2022, Lane Public School will have virtual learning days. We feel this is necessary for the safety of our students and staff. Learning packets were sent home with students today (02/22/22).

ORES TOURNAMENT SCHEDULE- DUE TO INCLEMENT WEATHER
Thursday's games will move to Saturday and Saturday's Consolation games will move to next Monday.

Consolation Games will be Monday night @ 5 PM and 6 PM.

There will be no school Thursday, February 3, 2022 and Friday, February 4, 2022 for Lane Public School due to inclement weather. These will be snow days with no distance learning. Please stay safe and warm.

Due to the high probability of the upcoming inclement weather, there will be NO AFTERSCHOOL Wednesday, February 2, 2022. School will proceed as normal. Decision as to school Thursday will be closely monitored determined at a later time.

Parents and Guardians, The 3rd and 4th grade game for today January 1 9, 2022 has been cancelled by Caney.

January 12th and 13th will be Distance Learning days for Lane Public School due to the increase number of Covid cases in our district. January 14th and 17th were already scheduled days of no school. At this time, school is scheduled to resume Tuesday, January 18th.

"For school enrollment, a parent or guardian shall provide one of the following:
1. Current, up-to-date immunization records; or
2. A completed and signed exemption form."

Today Atoka County was placed at level red on the COVID 19 Alert system developed by the Oklahoma Department of Education. At level red, the state department recommends closure. Through discussion with the Oklahoma Department of Health the rise in cases is due to a specific outbreak in our county. At this time, Lane Public School will remain OPEN. We will continue to monitor this situation and will keep you updated.
